New Zealand is on the winning track in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022. Today they beat India Women’s by 62 runs at Seddon Park in Hamilton.

New Zealand bowlers’ best performance led to the victory as they bowled out India for 198 runs, the target was 261.

It was a slow start for Indian openers. Yastika Bhatia and Asmarti Mandhana, for whom it was difficult to score.

The pressure increase when Jess Kerr bowled Mandhana for 6. the opener chipped in to cover him . Dipti Sharma also did not last long.

Lea Tahuhu made her LBW on a score of 5 which proved to be a successful review as India came to 26/2.

Bhatia, who joined Mithali Raj, failed to raise the tempo. As the hosts maintained discipline and length. Bhatia finally cauth by the cover fielder, as Tahoe celebrates his second skull.

Now Raj will Herman, which will be a big task for two experienced Indian batsmen in this situation.

After 25 overs, India were 75/3 runs for the chase of 261.

As Raj started to move forward. She was out of a toss-up delivery by Amelia Kerr, the Indian captain returned with 31 off 56 balls. At very next ball of Kerr, Richa Gosh’s wicket lost and India gone in deep sadness.

India will make a fuss for the next few overs. Herman Phantom and Asnia Rana failed to speed up, as the required rate was increasing.

Tahuhu will make his third skill in the 37th over, sending Rana to 18 with a short delivery. Even Vastrakar could not contribute more than the bat.

As the match drew to a close, Herman Phantom began a wave of shots, completing his half-century. After a hearty knock of 71 on 63 deliveries, he had a lot of success before reaching the long off.

Jhulan Goswami and Meghna Singh will open their arms and clear the boundries. But it was too short and too late for India. They will pile up 198 runs, losing the match by 62 runs.

The result gave New Zealand two more important points, leading them to two out of three wins for the White Fence.

India competed against the backdrop of their bowling innings. After Amy Setterthwaite’s half-century provided the White Funs with an excellent platform.

The left-hander was paired with wicketkeeper Katie Martin, who was promoted to No. 6 to start the back of the innings. Setterthwaite took 60 balls to reach 50, in the process he also partnered with Maddy Green for over fifty.

Along with Martin, Setterthwaite will make another important stand of 49 runs. As New Zealand came close to scoring big on the board.

Martin got a second life as Pooja Vastrakar made an easy catch off Rajeshwari Giakwad in the 42nd over. But he made up for it by dismissing Setterthwaite in the very next over.

Trying to chip the ball with the on-drive. Setterthwaite could only find Mithali Raj at mid-wicket. He ended a brilliant innings of 75 off 84 balls.

The wicket helped India fight back late in the death overs. Haley Jensen left after failing to clean sweep Giaquad and knocking him off the stumps.

Westerker then bowled the 47th over, in which he took consecutive wickets and was on the hat trick.

Tahoe was first bowled at 1 by a brilliant yorker. On the next ball, Westerker fired a quick yorker, in which the ball bounced off Jess Kerr’s pad as she bounced on the duck.

Frances McKay managed to dig a third yorker in a row as Wistracker missed a thrilling feat.

Katie Martin’s valuable 41st innings ended in the last over when Goswami knocked her over. Goswami became the joint highest wicket-taker in the history.

joining Lenette Ann Palesten at the top with 39 scallops. Goswami will give only 5 runs in the last over as New Zealand’s innings ended at 260/9.
