The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has unveiled the exciting schedule for the highly-anticipated India Women’s Tour To Bangladesh 2024.
India will embark on a five-match T20I series in Bangladesh this April-May. The series kicks off on April 28th, with three day-night matches set to take place in Sylhet.
This series offers both teams a critical opportunity to fine-tune their strategies ahead of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, scheduled to be hosted by Bangladesh later this year.
Bangladesh will be eager to gain a competitive edge by playing on familiar territory, while India will seek to use their experience with Bangladeshi conditions to their advantage.
Currently, the ICC Women’s T20I Rankings place India in the coveted 3rd position, with Bangladesh in 9th place.
Harmanpreet Kaur’s Indian team secured their spot in this year’s World Cup after reaching the semi-finals in the 2023 South Africa tournament, ultimately facing finalists Australia. Bangladesh, on the other hand, earned direct qualification as tournament hosts.
