Bangladesh’s Key Players’ Injuries
Bangladesh is facing two key players’ injuries before the series starts. The skipper Tamim Iqbal has been ruled out from the ODI series and will may out from the test also due to a groin injury.
The other key player fast bowler Taskin Ahmed will miss the first ODI due to a back injury.
Bangladesh named a stand-in captain in place of regular captain Tamim Iqbal. Litton Dass will stand-in captain till Tamim recovers from his injury.
Indian Plyer’s Injury
Mohammed Shami Indian fast bowler ruled out from the 17 names squad due to a shoulder injury. Umran Malik replaced Shami who recently made his debut against New Zealand last month.

India has played a bilateral series with New Zealand recently but Bangladesh will play its first Series after the T20 World Cup 2022 event. India’s series against New Zealand was affected by the weather because most of the matches were abandoned due to rain.
